RTC (SAMI) Info Session & Outing to Avenue Cartier
Are you taking the bus and wondering how to save on fares? Have you noticed the AVélo electric bikes around the city but aren’t sure how to use them? New to Québec and curious about how public transportation works here?
We’ve got you covered!
Join us for an RTC (SAMI) Info Session followed by a fun outing to Avenue Cartier!
What to expect:
We’ll meet at our office (1270 ch. Sainte-Foy) and head together to the RTC office for a 1h15 session — useful even if you’ve been taking the bus for years! You’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at how the transit system works: where lost items end up, how to get directions by phone, how to recharge your OPUS card 24/7, and how to rent an AVélo bike.
Afterward, each participant will receive a free bus ticket, which we’ll use to practice taking the bus together. We’ll head to Avenue Cartier to explore the street, discover its charming cafés, and enjoy some ice cream from Glacier Aberdeen!
📍 Meeting point: 1270 ch. Sainte-Foy 🚌 Free bus ticket included 🍦 Ice cream on the agenda! ✅ Open to all
⏰ Registration deadline: Monday, July 13 at 3:00 PM
Please note: Lunch and any additional shopping expenses are the responsibility of participants.
