When learning a new language, it is inevitable to sometimes get lost in translation. My beginnings in French were quite hilarious and often embarrassing, but at least it made me giggle. I remember that at first, I used to think that the « hôtel de ville » was a hotel chain, like Marriott, Hilton, Barceló, etc. Now learning idioms and expressions is even trickier! Sometimes, the best way of learning their meaning is by simply using them, which is why VEQ in collaboration with Canadian Parents for French is organising this fun game night.
