The Morrin Centre is looking for an enthusiastic and imaginative Youth & Education
Coordinator to develop and deliver engaging educational and cultural programs that bring history

About the Position
Reporting to the General Manager, the Youth & Education Coordinator is responsible for
developing and delivering the Morrin Centre’s educational and youth programming. The
successful candidate will coordinate school visits, create activities for children and families, and
help make the Morrin Centre an inspiring place to learn, discover and connect.


Responsibilities
● Develop, plan and deliver educational and cultural programming (STEAM Club,
Storytime, youth book club, workshops, etc.);
● Facilitate activities or coordinate guest presenters;
● Organize and oversee school visits;
● Develop educational resources and teaching materials;
● Build partnerships with schools and community organizations;
● Assist with educational grant applications;
● Collaborate with colleagues across departments to deliver high-quality programming;
● Evaluate programs and prepare reports.


Qualifications
● Postsecondary education in Education, History, Museum Studies, Cultural Animation,
Communications, or a related field;
● Excellent written and spoken French and English;
● Experience in education, museum education or cultural programming is considered an
asset.

Working Conditions
● Full-time position (35 hours/week);
