The Morrin Centre is looking for a dynamic, organized and resourceful Venue Rental Operations

In one of Québec City’s most unique heritage sites, you’ll help transform every venue rental into
an exceptional experience by working closely with clients, vendors and colleagues.
About the Position
Reporting to the General Manager, the Venue Rental Operations Coordinator is responsible
for coordinating all operational aspects of the Morrin Centre’s venue rentals once a booking has
been confirmed. Working closely with the Business Development & Sales Coordinator, the successful candidate ensures that every event is properly planned, prepared and delivered to the
highest standard.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, thrives in a dynamic
environment, and takes pride in creating exceptional client experiences.
Responsibilities
● Coordinate all logistical aspects of confirmed venue rentals;
● Prepare event schedules, room layouts and operational plans;
● Coordinate with clients, caterers, suppliers and external service providers;
● Ensure event spaces are properly prepared before each rental;
● Coordinate equipment, furniture and room set-ups;
● Serve as the primary operational contact for clients leading up to their event;
● Supervise venue rentals as required and respond to operational issues as they arise;
● Work closely with the Business Development & Sales Coordinator to ensure a smooth
transition from sales to operations;
● Collaborate with other departments to ensure excellent client service;
● Maintain accurate event documentation and operational records;
● Assist with continuous improvements to venue rental procedures and client experience.
Qualifications
● Postsecondary education in Event Management, Hospitality, Tourism, Business
Administration or a related field;
● Excellent written and spoken French and English;
● Experience coordinating events, venue operations or hospitality services is considered an
asset.

Working Conditions
● Full-time position (35 hours/week);
