On Tuesday, November 10, VEQ will offer free transportation to the Jeffery Hale Community Partners’ Wellness Café. Join podiatrist Judith Roelly for an informative presentation on keeping your feet healthy at every age.
Learn about risk factors, prevention strategies, treatment options, and practical ways to stay active and protect your joints and bones.

Of course, no Christmas market outing would be complete without something delicious to eat! Come taste some yummy seasonal treats, warm up with a festive drink, and enjoy all the sights, sounds, and smells of the season. 🌭🍪☕️
It’s the perfect opportunity to slow down, soak up the Christmas-y atmosphere, and spend some time together. Bring your holiday spirit—and maybe a little room in your shopping bag!

Cap-Tourmente – Snow Geese Sightseeing
Out & About offers English speakers (50+) free transportation to various community activities while providing the opportunity to get out, socialize, and bond with others.

On Tuesday, October 13, and Friday, October 16, we’re heading to Cap Tourmente National Wildlife Area for a sightseeing adventure!
During this outing, we will take the Bois-sent-bon trail (1 km total) to a beautiful lookout area where a guide will give us a presentation on the snow geese. After the short presentation, we will walk back to the main building for lunch.
The trail is mostly flat and follows a wooden boardwalk path. Please bring a cold lunch.
Please note that this activity is mostly outdoors. This area can get quite windy, so please dress appropriately.
In case of heavy rain, the event will be cancelled.

Ferry to Quai Paquet
Out & About offers English speakers (50+) free transportation to various community activities while providing the opportunity to get out, socialize, and bond with others.
We can pick you up by bus at your place, or you can meet the group at the Jeffery Hale Pavilion (1270 chemin Ste-Foy, free parking).
On Tuesday, August 25 and Friday, August 28, we’re heading to Quai Paquet for a fun day outside! The bus will drop us off at the Gare fluviale de Québec, where we will take the ferry to Lévis.
At Quai Paquet, you’ll be able to purchase lunch at a food truck, or you can also bring a lunch with you! If you wish, you can bring a swimsuit to enjoy the splash pads. For more information on Quai Paquet, please click here (French website only).
In the event of rain or a heat wave, the activity will be postponed or cancelled.
