On Tuesday, July 7 & Friday, July 10, we’re heading to Plage Samuel de Champlain for a relaxing beach day!
Spend the day soaking up the sunshine at a one-of-a-kind beach and pool paradise! Whether you prefer lounging by the water, taking a refreshing dip, or simply enjoying the summer vibes, there’s something for everyone.
We’ll also treat ourselves to delicious casse-croûte favourites at Fastoche! à la plage—think crispy fries, juicy burgers, ice-cold drinks, and all the tasty classics that make a summer day complete.
Come relax and make the most of the season with great company! Don’t forget your swimsuit, a sun hat, a towel and your appetite! ☀️🏖️🍟

This week, we’re going to the beautiful Jardin universitaire Roger-Van den Hende (free admission). After our visit to the University Gardens, our bus will take us to Cochon Dingue at Place Ste-Foy mall for a tasty lunch. Prices range between 20 and 30$.
Please note that in the event of rain, the activity will still take place. We will skip the gardens and go straight to lunch!

Join us for an RTC (SAMI) Info Session followed by a fun outing to Avenue Cartier!
What to expect:
We’ll meet at our office (1270 ch. Sainte-Foy) and head together to the RTC office for a 1h15 session — useful even if you’ve been taking the bus for years! You’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at how the transit system works: where lost items end up, how to get directions by phone, how to recharge your OPUS card 24/7, and how to rent an AVélo bike.
Afterward, each participant will receive a free bus ticket, which we’ll use to practice taking the bus together. We’ll head to Avenue Cartier to explore the street, discover its charming cafés, and enjoy some ice cream from Glacier Aberdeen!

This week, VEQ is taking you to the Quai des Cageux to enjoy a walk next to the beautiful St-Lawrence River. Together, we will enjoy an afternoon walk in great company.
Please make sure to dress appropriately for the weather. The area can get pretty windy next to the river. If rain is scheduled for that day, we will try to reschedule. You will be notified at least 24 hours in advance if anything changes.

The Morrin Centre holds open-mic poetry soirées the first Monday of every month, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Library. Come to read your poetry or come to listen!
These soirées are drop-in events. If you arrive after the event starts, please ring the doorbell.
