Yes, you can overcome the Winter Blues (SAD)! The weather can impact anyone’s mood, but seasonal changes can have even greater effects on well-being.  You may start to feel “down” when the days get shorter in the fall and winter and then feel better in the spring, with longer daylight hours.  If you notice feeling like a different person depending on the season, you may be particularly sensitive to these shifts.

Take heart!  There are things you can do to keep your mood and motivation steady throughout the year. During this Overcome the Winter Blues (SAD) information session with professional psychologist, Dr. Megan Daley, you’ll learn:

  • What Seasonal Affective Disorder is
  • Various options that could help
  • Pros and cons of light therapy and other solutions
  • Myths surrounding Seasonal Affective Disorder

Refreshments offered.  Free parking available.
