Morrin Centre: Tween-Tales Book Club
Tween-Tales Book Club:
Matilda (+Movie Night!)
This week, we will be discussing Matilda by Roald Dahl, illustrated by Quentin Blake, AND watch a movie adaptation!
Please note: due to the movie screening, this activity will end an hour later than usual (at 8:15 p.m. rather than at 7:15 p.m.).
This fall, join the Tween-Tales book club and discover the Power of Paper. Every other week, we will discuss a different book, including a graphic novel, around the theme of paper.
Each session is free, but registration is required to participate. To register, fill out this form.
*Please note that spots are limited. If all the spots are taken you will be contacted and placed on a waiting list.
The Tween-Tales book club is an intimate and engaging book club for children ages 10 to 13. The group will have two to three weeks to read each book, which will be provided by the Morrin Centre. Each hour-long session will be dedicated to discussing, reflecting, and learning more about the book. Participation in every session is highly recommended.
Our goal is to nurture a love of reading in every participant through various fun and interactive activities, so as to encourage them to keep reading after each session.
For additional information, please contact our Youth and Education Coordinator, Marie-Ange Garand, at education@morrin.org.
