Some of the most meaningful creative work begins around a table.

From my home in Montcalm, I offer small, welcoming gatherings built around art, writing, curiosity, and conversation. These are not formal classes where everyone is expected to produce the same thing. They are spaces to experiment, exchange ideas, tell stories, and rediscover the pleasure of making something with your own hands.

No previous artistic or writing experience is required. You only need curiosity and a willingness to begin.

Journal créatif mixte / Mixed-Media Journaling

A six-week bilingual creative series

Over six evenings, we will explore mixed-media journaling through colour, collage, drawing, photographs, words, paint, and collected materials.

Each gathering will begin with a prompt or creative doorway, but everyone’s journal will develop differently. The purpose is not to create perfect pages. It is to experiment, follow your curiosity, and develop a personal creative practice in a relaxed and encouraging setting.

The gatherings will be bilingual, with French taking the lead. Participants are welcome to speak and create in either French or English.

$240, plus a required $35 journal

Registration deadline: September 20, 2026

The journal and basic creative materials will be provided, including glue sticks, magazines, paint, markers, and pencils.

Participants are also encouraged to bring any personal materials they would enjoy using: photographs, pages from old notebooks or journals, magazine images, decorative papers, or a small collection of their own favourite art supplies.
