Cap-Tourmente – Snow Geese Sightseeing

Out & About offers English speakers (50+) free transportation to various community activities while providing the opportunity to get out, socialize, and bond with others.

We can pick you up by bus at your place, or you can meet the group at the Jeffery Hale Pavilion (1270 chemin Ste-Foy, free parking).

On Tuesday, October 13, and Friday, October 16, we’re heading to Cap Tourmente National Wildlife Area for a sightseeing adventure!

During this outing, we will take the Bois-sent-bon trail (1 km total) to a beautiful lookout area where a guide will give us a presentation on the snow geese. After the short presentation, we will walk back to the main building for lunch.

The trail is mostly flat and follows a wooden boardwalk path. Please bring a cold lunch.

Please note that this activity is mostly outdoors. This area can get quite windy, so please dress appropriately.

In case of heavy rain, the event will be cancelled.

Activity Time: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM (pickup time will vary depending on your location; Cap-Tourmente is about an hour away from Quebec City)
