Out & About Program for English Speakers (50+)
The Out & About program by VEQ is a beautiful opportunity for English-speaking seniors aged 50 and over to stay active, engaged, and socially connected. This program provides free transportation to community activities, allowing participants to explore Quebec City and its surroundings. Out & About offers everything, from culture to shopping to nature.
Each week, the program offers a range of exciting outings. Participants can enjoy leisurely shopping trips, browsing local stores and picking up essentials. The program includes trips to l’Île d’Orléans, a charming island with villages, historic sites, and stunning landscapes. Of course, no outing is complete without a treat, so we also include stops for ice cream and other delicious treats along the way.
Upcoming Activity:
Join us for a fun-filled day at the bowling alley at Centre Communautaire Guy Drolet, where you can enjoy a game for just $4. Whether you’re a seasoned bowler or a first-timer, this activity promises a mix of friendly competition and plenty of laughs.
It’s the perfect way to connect with others, engage in light-hearted rivalry, and showcase your skills on the lanes. Afterwards, we’ll have a tasty lunch to relax and celebrate our victories. Who doesn’t love healthy competition and a chance to bond over great food? A day at the bowling alley will bring everyone together for a memorable time.
