We understand how stressful the past years have been, which is why we’d like to continue providing you with opportunities to let it all out in a fun, amicable, relaxed environment, and what better way than by playing board games, or card games, and sharing with new friends? One of the things we missed the most was the spontaneity and no one feels like registering anymore, we get it! However, since we will be providing refreshments (juice, coffee, tea, hot cocoa) and snacks, we’d like to have an idea of how many people to expect so we can plan accordingly. Having said this, please take a minute to register here! Feel free to bring along a friend, classmate, or partner.
We have more than two dozens of new games for you to explore and enjoy, most of them in English (or that can be played in any language) and a good amount in French as well, for the intrepid ones that would like to practice their French skills.
Come socialise with other newcomers while playing games in English and in French.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m.!

We encourage you to register so we can prepare accordingly. For example, we will have some yummy snacks to nibble, like mini quiches, but we need to have an idea of how many people to expect!

English and French-speakers get together once a month to work to a variety of tasks while practicing their second-language in small groups. It’s fun, informal and a great way to make new friends. Francophones, Anglophones and Allophones (people who speak another language besides French or English) are welcome.
Volunteers work together in conversation groups on tasks like: washing/sanitizing toys, preparing crafts, folding newsletters or pamphlets, organizing books, folding fresh laundry, hanging decorations. These activities occur once a month on Friday from 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Interested in joining? Click here to see more information and the schedule for the year, and please sign up directly on MyImpactPage.com or fill out an application if you are new to volunteering.
