Practice your Interviewing skills
May 3 @ 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM

A successful job search often comes down to the interview moment, where one gets to impress the potential employer. With the upcoming regional job fair on the horizon (on May 6 & 7), we in partnership with the FORT program would like to help you prepare for this very important step in your job search.

The moment of truth has come. You sent your CV and cover letters and now you are being called for an interview… In other circumstances, you would be relatively nervous, but you are now living in Québec City and chances are the interview will be in French or at least part of it. No need to panic! We are collaborating with the FORT program to offer you the possibility of practicing your French interviewing skills. At the end of it, you will be better equipped in terms of what kind of questions you can expect when interviewing in French, and how to prepare your selling points in the aforementioned language. Now, if your interviews are most likely to be carried out in English, then by all means you can practice in English!

Fall Fest is here once again!

We are excited to invite you to our annual Fall Fest, a fantastic event designed for the whole family. Join us as we celebrate our vibrant community and local businesses at this year’s Fall Fest. This fun-filled day will feature various activities to entertain and engage everyone. From inflatable games with kids jumping and laughing to face painting that will transform little ones into their favourite characters, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

But that’s not all! We have an array of live performances lined up, showcasing talented cultural groups from our area. These performances will bring a rich tapestry of music, dance, and storytelling that reflects the diverse heritage of our community. It’s an exquisite opportunity to experience different cultures and celebrate the artistic talents of local performers.

In addition to these exciting activities, there will be plenty of opportunities to meet and connect with representatives from local community groups and businesses. This is a great chance to learn more about the services, products, and initiatives that make a difference in our community. Whether you’re looking to support local businesses or get involved with community projects, you’ll find valuable connections and information.

Please mark your calendars and plan to join us for Fall Fest on Saturday, September 21st, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Quebec High School. Bring your family, friends, and neighbours for a day filled with laughter, learning, and community spirit. We can’t wait to see you there and share this exciting experience. Don’t miss out on the fun—come and make memories with us at Fall Fest!

Kanga gym: Group 2
Oct 19 @ 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM

The image shows two young children, a boy and a girl, playing in a colorful indoor gym or playroom. The boy, wearing a blue shirt and dark shorts, and the girl, wearing a white dress, are both smiling and holding onto a wooden climbing frame. The background is filled with various play equipment, including hula hoops, a small basketball hoop, colorful balls, and wall-mounted climbing bars. The atmosphere is bright and cheerful, suggesting a fun and safe environment for kids to play and exercise.

Note: Due to high demand, we have added a second group for this activity.

Group 1: 9:15-10:15 a.m. ( FULL!)

Group 2: 10:30-11:30 a.m.

Join us for our first-ever toddler gym class. Kanga Gym is an activity designed for toddlers aged 2 to 5 that focuses on developing your child’s gross motor skills while giving them a chance to have fun with others. These parent-child sessions also provide an excellent opportunity for you to connect with your child as they navigate the stations.

What your kiddos will practice
  • Climbing on our new Montessori climbing structures
  • Jumping
  • Balance
  • Coordination

Kanga Gym is a unique approach that will challenge your child’s physical and emotional abilities in a fun and social setting. While climbing and jumping may be risky sometimes, science has shown that children thrive when experiencing risky play. It helps them to develop physical skills while promoting learning and overall development.

Register now because space is limited.

Due to space restrictions, we need to limit the number of places for this activity.

  • Register here to reserve your space for this fun parent-child activity!

The image shows a woman relaxing at home, sitting comfortably on a couch wrapped in a cozy knit blanket. She is holding an open book close to her face, peeking over the top with a warm smile, suggesting that she is enjoying her reading. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with soft lighting that enhances the serene and peaceful ambiance of the room. A tray with a mug of tea or coffee and some marshmallows sits nearby, adding to the comfort of the setting. The overall vibe is one of warmth, relaxation, and contentment. Join Chapters club
