An exciting popular event for the 150th anniversary of the Canadian Confederation. 40 tall ships and 3000 crew members from all around the world and 35 stopovers in different Canadian ports including Quebec City.
What we are looking for:
- Provide visitors with information on all the tall ships and activities.
- Assist visitors to circulate safely on the ports (changing tides);
- In the evenings welcome visitors to special events.
- Shifts are available during the day and in the evening.
- Must commit to 15 hours

The Québec City Celtic Festival is looking for volunteers. This is a great opportunity to givie time and knowledge to the festival while Learning and making new friends.
The 12th edition of the Québec City Celtic Festival will take place in Old Québec and at the Domaine Maizerets between August 17th and August 20th.
We are looking for volunteer coordinators and to fill back-office positions.

VEQ is still seeking 9 volunteers for Fall Fest, a great big full-day community event coming up on September 23rd . For more information please read below!

We are asking for 9 volunteers willing to do a variety of tasks (see below) at the event to be held Saturday, September 23rd. This event will showcase local community groups and organizations, offer activities geared towards children and youth as well as performances by different cultural groups! There are over 600 people that come in to partake in the community feel of this event, so all hands on deck will be immensely appreciated!
Date: Saturday, September 23rd
Time: 10:30 am – 3 pm
Location: St. Vincent’s School, parking free
Tasks: greeting, handing out bags & counting people, manning VEQ’s table to direct and inform the public, supervising inflatable games & interacting with kids and cleaning up the space. You will have a chance to wander to different tables, check out performances and meet people during your lunch break. A warm lunch (hotdogs, corn, soda) is provided to volunteers!

Osteoporosis Canada is seeking professional volunteers to assist with our booth this coming weekend November 18-19 at the National Women’s Show in Quebec City. Volunteers will assist with running a height screening program which aims to spread awareness about the connection between height loss and osteoporosis. Shifts are Saturday, November 18 from 1:30-6:00PM and/or Sunday November 19 from 12:30-5:00PM. Training will be provided onsite. Fluency in English and French is required. Healthcare background preferred.

Technology Workshops for Seniors presents the Volunteer Series!
VEQ in partnership with Quebec High School and the Wellness Centre at Jeffery Hale is proud to announce the 2017 – 2018 series of Technology Workshops for the seniors of our community. The new Volunteer Series workshops will focus on using a new volunteer platform. Access your profile, choose your volunteer activity and then participate – just a few clicks away! QHS high school students will introduce this new volunteer platform and provide hands on guidance on getting familiar with it so that you can pick and choose your volunteer opportunities with ease and stay connected to the community! Please feel free to bring your tablet, laptop or iPad to the workshops.

VEQ in partnership with Quebec High School and the Wellness Centre at Jeffery Hale is proud to announce the 2017 – 2018 series of Technology Workshops for the seniors of our community. The new Volunteer Series workshops will focus on using a new volunteer platform. Access your profile, choose your volunteer activity and then participate – just a few clicks away! QHS high school students will introduce this new volunteer platform and provide hands on guidance on getting familiar with it so that you can pick and choose your volunteer opportunities with ease and stay connected to the community! Please feel free to bring your tablet, laptop or iPad to the workshops.

This concert features Emma Ahern, VEQ’s summer student, who plays the oboe.
