We understand how stressful the past years have been, which is why we’d like to continue providing you with opportunities to let it all out in a fun, amicable, relaxed environment, and what better way than by playing board games, or card games, and sharing with new friends? One of the things we missed the most was the spontaneity and no one feels like registering anymore, we get it! However, since we will be providing refreshments (juice, coffee, tea, hot cocoa) and snacks, we’d like to have an idea of how many people to expect so we can plan accordingly. Having said this, please take a minute to register here! 😎
If you don’t register, feel free to come nonetheless!
We have more than two dozens of new games for you to explore and enjoy, most of them in English (or that can be played in any language) and a good amount in French as well, for the intrepid ones that would like to practice their French skills. Take a look at them below. 👇
Come socialise with other newcomers while playing games in English and in French.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m.!
Register here!
We encourage you to register so we can prepare accordingly.
Join us on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. for our Annual General Meeting.

Pétanque is a popular sport among locals, to the point that many public parks have fields open to the public. Many families enjoy practicing it and passing down the love for it at every get-together! As newcomers, an important part of our integration is the sense of belonging, and understanding the local traditions, which is why we plan activities like this, to help you better understand and embrace your new environment. With the collaboration of Pétanque – Parc St Paul-Apôtre, we hope you enjoy this new sport!

In this improvisation series, presented by stage actor and director Michael Bourguignon, you will learn the A-to-Z of performance, how to think on (and off) your feet, and how to support your fellow performers by developing teamwork and trust. Through a variety of warm-up exercises, games, and off-the-cuff scenarios, you will experience the fun (and funny!) world of improvisation in a safe and supportive environment. Bring your smile and sense of spontaneous adventure! No ifs or buts …
Michael Bourguignon is a stage actor and director known for his quick wit and his penchant for pratfalls and other forms of physical comedy. Currently vice-president of the Quebec Art Company, Quebec City’s foremost English-language theatre group, Michael discovered his passion for the stage late in life, but he hit the boards running and hasn’t looked back. Like his lifelong mentor, Bugs Bunny, Michael is a versatile character actor who dabbles in musicals and overdresses for almost every occasion. When not onstage, he is a teacher, communications consultant, voiceover artist, sometime stand-up comedian, and proud father. In all these roles, he always asks himself, “What would Bugs Bunny do?”
This event is made possible thanks to the support of the Government of Canada.
