In this year of COVID-19, the Grinch has been hard at work keeping us from planning our annual EPIQ HOHOHO Here We Go Again Children’s Christmas Party. Never fear, the community Wellness Centre still has something fun in store for our little ones!
A team of jolly volunteers from our EPIQ (English-speaking Parents in Quebec City) group is offering local English-speaking families the chance to receive a customized video sent to your child(ren) from Santa, Mrs. Claus or a helpful elf. The video would be personalized to your family for a small fee (see payment details below). All of the profits will go towards the 25th annual Community Christmas Hamper Campaign.
Be sure to register before the December 10th deadline. We’re aiming to have your personalized video link(s) in your mailbox by December 17th. Your child(ren) can watch the video over and over again on a smart phone, tablet, or computer screen.
The best news of all is that 100% of proceeds from this project will help make this Christmas brighter for local families who are struggling financially this season. Meditation is the process of training your mind to focus and redirect your thoughts. Its benefits have been scientifically proven to help with stress management, and boy, it’s been stressful at times, lately! During this session, we’ll explore different and accessible techniques such as conscious breathing, mindfulness meditation.
