Experience the joy of blueberry picking at Vire Crêpe in St-Nicolas! This fun and relaxing outing offers a chance to enjoy the fresh air, pick delicious blueberries, and socialize with fellow participants.
Vire Crêpe provides a delightful setting for this seasonal activity, allowing you to immerse yourself in the harvest experience. It’s a perfect opportunity to enjoy the beauty of nature, savour the fruits of your labour, and share the bounty with friends and family.
After our picking session, we’ll have time to relax and enjoy a treat. Be prepared for a day filled with laughter, fresh air, and the satisfaction of picking your fruit.

Join other English-speaking parents and caregivers of children of all ages for get-togethers on Saturday mornings from 10-11:30a.m. on the Plains of Abraham. Hang out at the Parc du Musée playground and a chat while your kids play . Or, meet-up with the others there and then head off for a walk around the fabulous paths on the Plains.

Our volunteer-led Wellness Walks offer a time outdoors to enjoy the benefits of physical movement and social interaction.
This week’s walk is ideal for anyone who lives, works or simply enjoys being in the city. Join our volunteer Sheryl who will be leading a Wellness walk at the Plains of Abraham.

Level of walk: The walk is rated easy and will be for approximately 1 hour.
Parking facilities: There is paid parking at 601-793 Avenue Laurier Parking or nearby at 225 Grande Allée Est Parking.

Of course, no outing is complete without a treat, so we also include stops for ice cream and other delicious treats along the way.

Join us for a fun-filled day at the bowling alley at Centre Communautaire Guy Drolet, where you can enjoy a game for just $4. Whether you’re a seasoned bowler or a first-timer, this activity promises a mix of friendly competition and plenty of laughs.

Become a thespian for a day as the Lifelong Learning room transforms into the Globe Theatre with a reading of William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Each week, participants will choose a character at random to read aloud while our facilitator, Meb Reisner, discusses the play. Join us for all four sessions and receive a door prize at the end!
A Midsummer Night’s Dream is celebrated for its light-hearted and fantastical nature. It is often categorized as Shakespeare’s best-loved comedies, showcasing as it does his mastery in blending humor, romance, and enchantment. Open to all ages and levels; instructor Susa Bernard will show you how to adapt the exercises to your ability. She is a certified yoga instructor at Susa Sparkle Yoga.
Things to bring with you:
- A yoga mat or towel

Jog Your Mind is a series of workshops designed for individuals aged 50 and over experiencing normal intellectual aging. This innovative program aims to keep your memory in shape. Tips, advice, and exercises are provided at each session based on the day’s theme.
In addition to receiving material during the sessions, participants also have the opportunity to exercise their cognitive functions at home with a 300-page activity workbook.
This is a drop-in event. No need to register.
