“Shannon: The Log Drive on the Jacques-Cartier River”
The Local Heritage Council and the Shannon Historical Society invite you to attend their fifth annual historical evening.
Since 2015 our evenings have unveiled, chapter by chapter, different aspects of life in Shannon. This year’s conference will present a page of Shannon’s history that is as fascinating as it is important: that of the log drive on the Jacques-Cartier River. Come discover new stories, tales, legends and pictures, with special guest, Mrs. Dorothée Boilard.
When : Thursday, May 2nd, 2019 at 6:30 p.m.

Where : Shannon Community Centre, 75 Gosford Road

We hope to see you there!
Do you have any photos of Shannon’s early days? If so, please bring them along! The Shannon Historical Society and the Local Heritage Council are preserving and safeguarding any pictures you may have and will be working to scan your pictures during the information evening and return them to you immediately. Thank you in advance.
