Quebec Art Company’s “Wait Until Dark”

Due to the teachers’ strike forcing the closure of Holland School, there will be three shows only for Wait Until Dark, Quebec Art Company’s thrilling fall dramatic production.

Opening night will now be Friday, Nov. 24, at 7:30, with shows on Saturday evening and a matinee Sunday at 2 p.m..

Directed by Cheryl Rimmer, QAC’s virtuoso of many memorable shows including The Game’s Afoot, Noises Off, Lend Me a Tenor and many more hits, Wait Until Dark is the story of a young blind woman in New York City terrorized by crooks. And, darkness, as the title suggests, plays a key role in the story’s tense plot.

The movie version of the play is a horror classic and earned Audrey Hepburn Oscar and Globe nominations. The QAC production features an exciting mix of company veterans and newcomers.
