The Morrin Centre’s Picture This is a photography project in three parts.
With the help of professional photographer Jacques Gaines, the Morrin Centre offers a series of five photography workshops. Each workshop, held on a Tuesday evening, will present a different aspect of photography, from framing to photo-editing.
For this workshop:
Do you have old photos full of history? You know, the ones in black and white from your parents’ or grandparents’ era, tucked away in a box up in the attic? Then please come and share your photos and their stories with us during our memory sharing meetings!
We are looking particularly for photos featuring the English-speaking community of Quebec and the Morrin Centre. They could eventually be featured in a temporary exhibit presented at the Morrin Centre later this year. You are invited to send digitized copies prior to the meetings. We are also able to digitize them for you as needed.
To learn more, visit the event webpage or contact our Heritage Coordinator at anthonyarata@morrin.org.
If you have pictures you would like to share but none of the meetings scheduled suit you, please email our Heritage Coordinator and send him your pictures anyway!
