Out & About offers English speakers (50+)
The Out & About program by VEQ offers English-speaking seniors aged 50+ a chance to stay active and socially connected. It also provides free transportation to various community activities, from cultural experiences and shopping trips to nature outings.
Each week, participants can enjoy shopping excursions, visit l’Île d’Orléans, and stop for treats like ice cream. Consequently, the program helps participants stay connected, meet new friends, and explore Quebec City.
Moreover, the program is more than just a series of outings—it’s an opportunity to experience the vibrant community around you. We look forward to having you join us on our next adventure!

Experience the joy of blueberry picking at Vire Crêpe in St-Nicolas! This fun and relaxing outing offers a chance to enjoy the fresh air, pick delicious blueberries, and socialize with fellow participants.
Vire Crêpe provides a delightful setting for this seasonal activity, allowing you to immerse yourself in the harvest experience. It’s a perfect opportunity to enjoy the beauty of nature, savour the fruits of your labour, and share the bounty with friends and family.
After our picking session, we’ll have time to relax and enjoy a treat. Be prepared for a day filled with laughter, fresh air, and the satisfaction of picking your fruit.
