Parents, are you worried about keeping your pre-teen / teen safe while they browse the internet or use their electronic devices?  Please join us on Thursday, November 11, for an online presentation by Dr. Geneviève Vohl from the Centre Cyber-aide on the impacts of technology and how to use it safely. Here are some of the topics that Dr. Vohl will address:

  • Risks and protection factors
  • Recognizing overuse
  • Managing emotions
  • Cybercrimes
  • Cyberbullying
  • Sexting
  • What to if there is an incident involving you or a family member
