ADMINISTRATIVE & PROJECTS ASSISTANT
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Administrative & Special Projects Assistant will provide support for administrative duties and logistical coordination, including providing support on project initiatives. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks. Strong communication skills and the ability to take initiative are essential to succeed in this dynamic and varied role.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide administrative support to the Executive Director;
- Assist with meetings and conferences;
- Answer and manage incoming phone calls and welcome visitors;
- Provide information and referrals;
- Provide assistance with various project initiatives (Youth & Families, Newcomers, Employability);
- Ensure the day-to-day operations of the office;
- All other tasks determined by the Executive Director.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT AND BENEFITS:
- 28 hours per week
- Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience
- Occasional evening and weekend work may be required
- Group insurance and RRSP contributions after 3 months
