Social Worker

Person who assesses social functioning, determines an action plan and ensures its execution. He/she promotes and restores the social functioning of the person in harmony with his/her environment in order to foster the maximum development of the person in relation to his/her environment.

He/she engages in design, guidance, consultation, updating, analysis and evaluation activities in one or more social programs.

Must have a bachelor’s degree in social work or social service or meet the educational requirements of the Ordre des travailleurs sociaux et thérapeutes conjugaux et familiaux du Québec (OTSTCFQ)

Must be a member of the OTSTCFQ.

* Candidates will have the opportunity to work with the English-speaking community for the following types of clients: geriatric, early childhood, childhood, psychiatric disorders and home support. A certain level of English is required, depending on the setting. An English test will be required.
