SUMMARY:Wellness Walk at the Plains of Abraham
DESCRIPTION:Our volunteer-led Wellness Walks offer a time outdoors to enjoy the benefits of physical movement and social interaction. \nThis week’s walk is ideal for anyone who lives\, works or simply enjoys being in the city.  Join our volunteer Sheryl who will be leading a Wellness walk at the Plains of Abraham. \nPlease register so Sheryl knows to expect you!  Register here. \nMeeting time: 10:30 a.m. \nMeeting point: Joan of Arc Garden – on the corner of rue Taché and George IV Avenue on the Plains (just along from the Public toilets on rue Taché). \nLevel of walk: The walk is rated easy and will be for approximately 1 hour. \nParking facilities: There is paid parking at 601-793 Avenue Laurier Parking or nearby at 225 Grande Allée Est Parking. \nTransport options:  MetroBus #800\, #801 to Grand Theatre (with a 5- minute walk to the Joan of Arc Garden); or the RTC #11 Turnbull stop on Grande Allée E. \nWashroom facilities: There are washrooms at the beginning/end of the walk on rue Taché. \n\nQuestions?\nPlease contact Verity\, WE Mind Mental Health Program Coordinator: 418-684-5333\, ext. 11932\, or vjordan@jhpartners.net.
