SUMMARY:Grande Plée Bleue Interpretive Tour for Newcomers
DESCRIPTION:*** IT’S BACK! ***\n  \nLadies and gentlemen\, this may be your chance to find your Fiona or your Shrek! We have been invited to their humble abode\, ahem\, a peat bog in Beaumont. VEQ will provide the transportation to the Grande Plée Bleue for FREE. Once there\, we will take an interpretive tour (2.5 hours) guided by experts in the field. The trail is 3\,4 kilometers on flat terrain so families can bring a trail stroller. \n\n When selecting your tickets on Eventbrite\, choose “VEQ Newcomer” if you are a newcomer from the Greater Québec City region. Departure from Québec City: 8:00 a.m.   ( 1270 Ch Ste-Foy\, Québec\, QC G1S 2M4)\n If you are part of the South Shore English Network (MCDC) group\, select “General Admission” when getting your tickets. Departure from Lévis: 8:20 a.m.  (1190B Rue de Courchevel\, St-Romuald\, Quebec G6W 0M6)\n\n  \nThe visit is free and donations to the Conservation Society are encouraged.\n  \n ***Registration is required!***  The maximum of people is 30\, children included.  \n  \nIt is recommended to bring the following: \n\nSunscreen and bug repellent\nHat\, sunglasses and a water bottle\nBinoculars\nGood walking shoes (definitely do not recommend flip flops)\nYour smile!\nSnacks (it will be a long morning)\nA cold lunch\n\n \n  \n

The estimated time of arrival in Québec City is around 1:00 PM\, there is a gorgeous park across the street (Samuel-Holland Park) with picnic tables\, small tables\, and chairs. Perfect place to fuel up and continue enjoying your Saturday.\n\n  \nSince the boardwalk in the bog doesn’t permit a 2 meters’ distance between visitors the mask must be worn at all times. \n
