DESCRIPTION:Join us for this free\, interactive workshop! \nStress is a normal part of life. But that doesn’t mean it’s easy to deal with! When too much stress builds up over time\, it can affect our work\, our personal lives\, and even our health. Learning to deal with stress in a healthy way can improve our well-being in all spheres of our lives. \nHere’s what will be covered in this course: \n\nWe will explore what stress is and what it feels like.\nWe’ll talk about good ways to reduce and recover from stress.\nYou’ll have a chance to figure out some sources of stress in your life\, and make a plan to deal with at least one of them.\n\nRegistration required: UP Skills for Work Workshop Registration Form  – Fill in form \nThe Stress Management course is part of the UP Skills for Work program which helps you build skills for learning\, work\, and life. DESCRIPTION:Join JH Partners\, RDN\, and VEQ for a guided\, interactive workshop designed to help attendees understand the social economy\, identify real-world issues in their communities\, and begin developing ideas for social impact projects.\n\n\nWhat’s in the session?\n\nSocial Economy 101: A quick and accessible introduction to what the social economy is\, how it works\, and why it matters in Québec.\nDocu-discussion: Short video clips and guided conversations to explore community needs and collective solutions.\nHands-on workshop\n\nWhat will I walk away with?\n\nA better understanding of the social economy and collective entrepreneurship.\nA concrete idea for a collective project that addresses a real need.\nKnowledge of how to involve stakeholders in a collective enterprise.\n\nThis activity is offered for free and we’ll provide refreshments and snacks! \nThe session is developed by Regional Development Network (RDN) and will be facilitated by Mario Oropeza from RDN’s SEEnet initiative.  This session is in partnership with Voice of English-speaking Québec and offered through JH Partner’s Young & Empowered program\, for youth and young adults in our community. \nThe session will take place in English.
