So the Story Goes \u2013 Traditional Quebecois Storyteller
\nSo the Story Goes is a series of activities presenting different forms of storytelling, from picture books to music and Indigenous storytelling. This project will explore different forms of storytelling important to the Quebec Anglophone community and will allow participants to experiment with many ways to tell stories.<\/p>\n

\nThis activity will include a short demonstration of traditional Quebecois storytelling, followed by a workshop during which the guest will present the basis of his art and will guide the participants in applying their new knowledge in a practical way.<\/p>\n
Guest \u2013 Bernard Crustin<\/p>\n
Describing himself as \u201ca non-practising anthropologist\u201d (B.A. Honours Carleton University + some graduate work at Lehigh University in Pennsylvania), Bernard Crustin is an actor, a storyteller, and a tourist guide in Qu\u00e9bec City.<\/p>\n
Since 2005, he has told his stories in many venues: Espace F\u00e9lix-Leclerc, Festival international du conte Jos Violon (L\u00e9vis), 106,3 FM Radio-Canada, Samedis de conter (Trois-Pistoles), festival Qu\u00e9bec en toutes lettres with Arleen Thibault (La couleur des tigres, inspired by Borg\u00e8s), prison d\u2019Orsainville, caf\u00e9s, restaurants and schools . Most recently he was involved with Conteries de Charlevoix and Festival Contes et Menteries des Ami.e.s Imaginaires (Qu\u00e9bec).<\/p>\n
