{"id":688502,"date":"2025-04-14T11:12:48","date_gmt":"2025-04-14T15:12:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/veq.ca\/event\/the-grief-recovery-method-course\/"},"modified":"2025-04-14T11:12:48","modified_gmt":"2025-04-14T15:12:48","slug":"the-grief-recovery-method-course","status":"publish","type":"tribe_events","link":"https:\/\/veq.ca\/fr\/event\/the-grief-recovery-method-course\/","title":{"rendered":"The Grief Recovery Method Course"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n<p>For eight weeks, come together over Zoom with CMA Medeiros, a trained and certified specialist in the Grief Recovery Method.\u00a0 In this Grief Recovery Method course, she will guide you through the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Meet, discuss grief, reactions, and responses to grief.<\/li>\n<li>Get a clear view of how grief can build up.<\/li>\n<li>Practice compassion for yourself and others,<\/li>\n<li>Develop deep listening skills and start to increase your vocabulary related to emotions.<\/li>\n<li>Acquire practical lifelong skills for processing and dealing with loss and grief.<\/li>\n<li>Learn how to listen and support others moving forward.<\/li>\n<li>Gain tools to help you recognize your feelings and emotions tied to losses,<\/li>\n<li>Equip yourself to make choices about moving through grief that won\u2019t weigh you down.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This learning experience is about two skills that go hand in hand: How to compassionately witness others who grieve and learning how to be present with your own grief.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Important notes<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>There will be class discusion during the sessions and weekly homework.\u00a0 Homework will include reading, writing and journaling exercises.<\/li>\n<li>We require you to register for this Grief Recovery Method course as places are limited.
