by\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/anebquebec.com\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Anorexia and Bulimia Qu\u00e9bec (ANEB)\u00a0<\/a><\/em>informing about eating disorders and how to support and communicate with someone living with an eating problem.<\/p>\n<p>Through this 1.5 hour workshop given on Zoom, you will have an opportunity to learn about the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Challenges related to body image.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding the problems caused by different eating disorders.<\/li>\n<li>Spotting the signs that someone may have an eating problem.<\/li>\n<li>Factors that may make someone more likely to develop an eating disorder.<\/li>\n<li>Information about new types of eating problems like bigorexia, binge-eating disorder and alcoholorexia.<\/li>\n<li>Learning about grossophobia, the fear or hatred of overweight people, and how it can harm others.<\/li>\n<li>How to think carefully (develop a critical eye) about messages from the diet industry and society about how you should look.<\/li>\n<li>Communicating with and helping someone who has an eating disorder, while also knowing your limits as a caregiver.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You will also find out more about the organisation\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/anebquebec.com\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ANEB Qu\u00e9bec<\/a>\u00a0including their mission and the different services that they provide.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/zoom.us\/meeting\/register\/tJAvcuGhqzMiHdfMRghauYQZibIc9lf0UU0x\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Register here.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>You will
