 <\/p>\n

The Author<\/strong><\/p>\n

Aimee Wall is a writer and translator originally from Newfoundland. Her essays, short fiction, and criticism have appeared in numerous publications, including\u00a0Maisonneuve<\/em>,\u00a0Matrix Magazine<\/em>,\u00a0The Montreal Review of Books<\/em>, and\u00a0Lemon Hound<\/em>. Wall\u2019s translations include Vickie Gendreau\u2019s novels\u00a0Testament<\/em>\u00a0(2016) and\u00a0Drama Queens<\/em>\u00a0(2019), as well as Jean-Philippe Baril Gu\u00e9rard\u2019s novel\u00a0Sports and Pastimes<\/em>\u00a0(2017). Her acclaimed debut novel,\u00a0We, Jane<\/em>,\u00a0was nominated for nine literary prizes, including the Amazon Canada First Novel Award, the BMO Winterset Award, the ReLit Award for Fiction, and the Scotiabank Giller Prize. Wall lives in Montreal.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The French Translators<\/strong><\/p>\n

Genevi\u00e8ve Robichaud<\/b>\u00a0was born in Moncton and lives in Sackville. Her research and writings focus on translation as a poetic art. With Erin Wunker and Sina Queyras, she is co-editor of\u00a0Avant Desire: A Nicole Brossard Reader<\/em>\u00a0(Coach House Books, 2020). She is also the author of a chapbook, titled\u00a0Exit Text<\/em>\u00a0(Anstruther Press, 2016), and of a book on the poetry of translation, published by McGill-Queen\u2019s University Press. She is a postdoctorate intern at the Institut d\u2019\u00e9tudes acadiennes de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Moncton.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Danielle LeBlanc<\/strong>\u00a0was born and still lives in Moncton, on unceeded Mi\u2019kmaq territory. After managing the Frye Festival from 2010 to 2017, she went back to school and completed a doctorate on minority translation in the acadian context at Trinity College Dublin. She continues to work in the literary and cultural fields in the Atlantic. Some of her translations were published in\u00a0Cadence\u00a0: Voix f\u00e9minines<\/em>\u00a0\/ Female Voices\u00a0<\/em>(Frog Hollow Press, 2020).<\/p>\n
