The sextet mixes up folk, rock, and jazz for a contemporary progressive folk sound, featuring a blend of piano, acoustic guitars, pedal steel, string bass, cello, banjo, mandolin, flute, and saxophone. At the heart of the music are Haller\u2019s haunting lyrics.<\/p>\n<p>Haller has written several books and has won numerous national awards, including the Canadian National Magazine Award for poetry.
