Guided Tour of the Espace Riopelle & Hidden Treasure<\/h1>\n

Out & About offers English speakers\u00a0(50+)\u00a0<\/span>free transportation<\/span>\u00a0to various community activities while providing the opportunity to get out, socialize, and bond with others.<\/span><\/p>\n

We can pick you up by bus at your place, or you can meet the group at the Jeffery Hale Pavilion (1270 chemin Ste-Foy, free parking).<\/span><\/p>\n

Join us for a special guided visit of the brand-new\u00a0Espace Riopelle<\/strong><\/em> at the MNBAQ! Discover the work and world of Jean Paul Riopelle in a 90-minute guided experience filled with art, stories, and inspiration. Please note that the guided tour will be\u00a0mostly standing<\/strong>, so wear your comfiest shoes! The outing is walker-friendly<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

After our guided visit, we will have the opportunity to see their new exhibition,\u00a0Hidden Treasure: A Century of Mystery<\/strong>.<\/em> In this exhibition, you’ll get the chance to see the jewels of Zita of Bourbon-Parma, the last Empress of Austria and Queen of Hungary, who found refuge in the city of Qu\u00e9bec in October 1940.<\/p>\n

Please note that there might be a line before entering the exhibition, and that pictures and videos are prohibited.<\/p>\n

🍽️\u00a0Lunch plans:<\/strong> We’ll be there around lunchtime, so feel free to\u00a0pack a lunch<\/strong> or purchase something from the museum’s caf\u00e9.<\/p>\n
