DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, June 15\, 1p.m. to 5 p.m. – Picnic 200th Anniversary of Fief Cumberland Mills\, Beauce (Sunday\, June 16 in case of rain)\nOwners\, Paul Geary & James Hunter cordially invite everyone to an English-style picnic on the lawns of Taylor Manor to mark the 200th anniversary of Edward Harbottle’s purchase of the 7\,000 acre Fief Cumberland Mills on June 15\, 1819\, as well as the 100th anniversary of Taylor Manor (the brick house completed in 1919)\, the third of the three manor houses of the seigneury: the first Harbottle Manor (The Stone House) was built in 1835\, the 2nd Taylor Manor (the wood house) was built in 1885.\nSandwiches\, hamburgers\, hot dogs\, salads and soft drinks will be available for sale\, however guests are welcome to bring their own picnic lunch.\nEntrance fee is 8$ Adult $5 for children under 13. Please bring a blanket to put on the grass and or lawn chairs if you prefer.\nThere will be small farm animals for children to pet\, as well as traditional picnic games such as sack races\, three-legged races\, horseshoes\, etc. Ladies are invited to participate in the most elegant/extravagant hat contest.
