DESCRIPTION:Send us your contribution for the Morrin Centre’s Stories of Our Community project writing contest! \n\n\n\nDate: February 17\, 2025\nTime: 23:00 – 23:30\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe hope to receive many different types of writing related to personal stories and popular history. You can write a story of 200 to 2000 words\, in English or French\, in any genre of your choice: prose\, poetry\, journalistic writing\, letters\, etc. \nSubmission deadline: February 17\, 2025 \n  \nFor questions or submissions\, please reach out to us at info@morrin.org. \nThis contest is open to all\, the Morrin Centre members and people from different Quebec regions. \nThe winning story and the runners-up will be published in the Stories of Our Community booklet that will be made available in a digital version on our social media and as a paper copy in the Library.

DESCRIPTION:Teatime – February 16\nFor Valentine’s Day\, why not offer a pair of tickets for Tea Time at the Morrin Centre? \n\n\n\nDate: February 16\, 2025\nTime: 17:00 – 18:30\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSunday\, February 16\, 5 p.m. \nFor Valentine’s Day\, why not offer a pair of tickets for Tea Time at the Morrin Centre? \nThis 90-minutes-long immersive and interactive experience will provide you with an introduction to tea history and etiquette\, teach you some traditional Victorian games and activities\, and (of course) allow you to taste a number of teas as well as sweet and savory snacks. \n\nTickets must be purchased by end of day the Wednesday before the event. In the event that the minimum number of registrations (8) is not reached by the Wednesday prior to the event\, the activity will be canceled and all tickets refunded. The maximum number of registration is 20. Please note that Teatime tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
