DESCRIPTION:Guided Tour of the Espace Riopelle & Hidden Treasure\nOut & About offers English speakers (50+) free transportation to various community activities while providing the opportunity to get out\, socialize\, and bond with others. \nWe can pick you up by bus at your place\, or you can meet the group at the Jeffery Hale Pavilion (1270 chemin Ste-Foy\, free parking). \n\nJoin us for a special guided visit of the brand-new Espace Riopelle at the MNBAQ! Discover the work and world of Jean Paul Riopelle in a 90-minute guided experience filled with art\, stories\, and inspiration. Please note that the guided tour will be mostly standing\, so wear your comfiest shoes! The outing is walker-friendly. \nAfter our guided visit\, we will have the opportunity to see their new exhibition\, Hidden Treasure: A Century of Mystery. In this exhibition\, you’ll get the chance to see the jewels of Zita of Bourbon-Parma\, the last Empress of Austria and Queen of Hungary\, who found refuge in the city of Québec in October 1940. \nPlease note that there might be a line before entering the exhibition\, and that pictures and videos are prohibited. \n🍽️ Lunch plans: We’ll be there around lunchtime\, so feel free to pack a lunch or purchase something from the museum’s café. \nCome enjoy some culture\, good company\, and a little artistic inspiration! 💙 \nDate: Tuesday\, December 1 & Tuesday\, December 15Activity Time: 10:15 AM – 2:00 PM (pickup time will vary depending on your location)Location:  Musée National des Beaux-Arts du QuébecWho: For participants aged 50+ \n\nTo get more information or to sign up\, please get in touch with Léa Bureau:(418) 683-2366 ext. 229 | lea.bureau@veq.ca
