The sextet mixes up folk\, rock\, and jazz for a contemporary progressive folk sound\, featuring a blend of piano\, acoustic guitars\, pedal steel\, string bass\, cello\, banjo\, mandolin\, flute\, and saxophone. At the heart of the music are Haller’s haunting lyrics. \nHaller has written several books and has won numerous national awards\, including the Canadian National Magazine Award for poetry.
