SUMMARY:Grande Plée Bleue Tour for Newcomers
DESCRIPTION:*** NEW EVENT ***\n  \nLadies and gentlemen\, this may be your chance to find your Fiona or your Shrek! We are visiting for the first time ever\, a peat bog in Beaumont. VEQ will provide the transportation to the Grande Plée Bleue for FREE. Once there\, we will take an interpretive tour (2.5-3 hours long) guided by experts in the field. The trail is 3\,4 kilometers on flat terrain so families can bring a trail stroller. \n  \nThe visit is free and donations to the Conservation Society are encouraged.\n  \n ***Registration is required!***  The maximum of people is 15\, children included.  \n  \nIt is recommended to bring the following: \n\nSunscreen and bug repellent\nHat\, sunglasses and a water bottle\nBinoculars\nGood walking shoes (definitely do not recommend flip flops)\nYour smile!\nSnacks (it will be a long morning)\nA picnic lunch? The estimated time of arrival in Québec City is around 1:00 PM\, there is a gorgeous park across the street (Samuel-Holland Park) with picnic tables\, small tables\, and chairs. Perfect place to fuel up and continue enjoying your Saturday.\n\n  \nSince the boardwalk in the bog doesn’t permit a 2 meters’ distance between visitors the mask must be worn at all times. \n
