DESCRIPTION:Quebec Art Company (QAC) is holding auditions for Grease! \nBe part of Québec City’s vibrant English-language theatre scene!\nAuditions for the spring 2026 production will take place on September 7\, 2025\, from 1:30 to 4:00 PM at Holland Elementary School (940 rue Ernest-Gagnon). \nNo experience needed — just a love of theatre. \n— \nGrease is the word\, is the time\, is the place\, is the motion. Grease is the way we are feeling. \nAfter dazzling audiences with a string of top-quality musicals\, from Cabaret to Fiddler on the Roof to Hair\, the Quebec Art Company\, Quebec City’s longest-running English-language theatre group\, is staging Grease\, one of the most playful\, provocative and popular Broadway shows ever. \nThe wise-cracking\, jive-dancing story of working class youth navigating the challenges of growing up and making choices\, all the while befuddled by romance\, has won the hearts of theatre-goers since it debuted in 1971. And\, oh yeah\, there are those amazing songs. \nPerformances are slated for April 2026 with rehearsals to begin in late fall 2025. \nInitial auditions for the principal male and female roles will be held Sunday\, Sept. 7. This includes: \n\n\nHow to read bus schedules and plan your trips \n\n\nWhere and how to buy tickets or monthly passes \n\n\nTips on saving money with special fares and offers \n\n\nA hands-on practice session with simulators to help you feel confident before riding \n\n\nAn overview of digital tools and resources to make using public transit easier \n\n\nAfter the workshop\, we will visit the  Musée du Chocolat to practice our newly acquired skills. Free bus tickets will be provided to all workshop participants!
