The Continuing Education Department of Champlain Regional College (St. Lawrence Campus) requires the services of an HOURLY INSTRUCTOR to teach the course of DOCUMENT PRODUCTION (412-OVA-SF).
Creating documents is an essential task for administrative assistants. Students will be asked to develop various business documents frequently used in that field.
The course reproduces a work environment where students need to deliver professional documents in French and English.
This is a bilingual course with 45 hours taught in French and 45 hours taught in English.
This teaching load is available subject to having a sufficient student enrollment.
Required Qualifications :
Must have a undergraduate degree in a related field to the course being taught.
Mus have teaching experience in Office Systems, in Administration or other related field.
Must have a thorough knowledge of the administrative profession, including planning, organization, and producing administrative documents.
The candidates must be fully bilingual, orally and written, or have a strong mastery of French or of English (*)
Demonstrated knowledge of the tasks and requirements associated with the position of an Administrative Assistant.
* In the absence of a fully bilingual teacher, two teachers will be hired for this course – one to teach the English content and one to teach the French content.
Required Tests :
Candidates will be required to pass language tests (English and French) as well as computer skills in Excel and Word.
