Our mission is to provide a quality English education for all students. We strive to instill in them the importance of respecting themselves, others, their school and the learning process.

Our mission is to establish a student-centered environment that encourages our students to attain their fullest potential and acquire the necessary skills to become well-rounded individuals and literate in the English language.

From pre-kindergarten to grade two the language of instruction is Naskapi. Instructions in the English language begin in grade three and continue through to secondary 5.

Our mission is to help students become contributing members of society by creating a learning environment that promotes citizenship, literacy and facilitates their educational aspirations.

Our vision is captured in the words found on our crest: Motivation, Achievement and Unity. Our mission is to provide an English education fostering cultural and community bridges to lifelong learning.

At Quebec High School we provide you with a welcoming, inclusive and safe multicultural environment in which the focus is on academic success and personal development.

High academic achievement is one of our main preoccupations; however, we are equally devoted to providing a safe and caring environment where respect and personal growth are in the forefront.

We, the Shawinigan High School community, are committed to academic excellence. We believe the student will attain academic excellence, the achievement of one’s personal best, through patience, perseverance, and participation.

The staff strongly believes in three general priorities when conducting its educational mission; Academics, Social, Values to encourage students to develop their spiritual potential respecting personal faiths and/or ethical convictions.

We strive to help our students to acquire competent social, communication, critical thinking and problem-solving skills to equip them for further education and entry into society.
