Submissions for the Connect with your City guidebook to community history, discovery and exploration closed on Friday October 27. The community was asked to provide their significant place or places in the Greater Quebec City region by completing an online survey or by completing hand-in forms.

A total of 163 places and events have been identified as being cultural and historical for English-speakers in our region.

The objective of this project is to provide community members with a unique opportunity to connect or reconnect with the rich cultural heritage of our city with the goal of strengthening their sense of pride and belonging to our community.

VEQ is working with Quebec High School, who under the leadership of Gregory Domonkos and Laura Peterson, are ensuring that the places are well researched and documented.

There will be an official launch of the guidebook in early 2018. More details will be released about it in the New Year.
